We adopt a co-creation approach with our suppliers. We work with a large number of professionals in the event world, whose job it is to adapt. By comparing our ideas, technical constraints, economic logic and our CSR ambitions, we mutually enrich each other.

Sustainable development, a daily challenge for our operations.

How does the Sustainable Development division support Comexposium events in their environmental approach?

« The Sustainable Development division, integrated into the Operations and Purchasing Department, supports each event by disseminating best practices and working with our partners in a process of common progress.

We are doing in-depth work with our regular partners to move forward together in this direction. Welcoming nearly 48,000 exhibitors in 150 events across 60 cities represents not only a technical but also an environmental challenge. Our goal is to reduce our environmental impact while improving our practices.»

What is the co-creation process with suppliers as part of Comexposium events?

« We adopt a co-creation approach with our suppliers, who are professionals in the events world. Their job is to adapt, and by confronting our ideas, technical constraints, economic logic, and our CSR ambitions, we mutually enrich each other.

This co-creation process allows us to experiment with concrete solutions with our partners on subjects such as waste management, development or restoration.

We then duplicate effective actions across several events to maximize their positive impact.»

How does Comexposium’s CSR strategy promote sustainable innovation through its events?

« As part of our CSR strategy, we have put in place tools to inspire and monitor the initiatives responsible for our events, such as the internal guide to good social and environmental practices at the show.

We also make sure to integrate the 4R rule into our decision criteria: can I refuse? Reduce ? Reuse or recycle? It is by answering these questions that we collectively improve our impact.

In addition, virtuous initiatives can come directly from the exhibition teams, contributing to new projects that benefit not only Comexposium, but sometimes on a broader scale.»
