Comexposium, one of the leading event organisers worldwide, creating professional and public events that bring communities together, announces the appointment of Julie Creuseveau as Director of External Relations, a newly created position, effective January 2025.

In her new role, Julie Creuseveau will be responsible for defining and implementing Comexposium’s external relations strategy. As the organizer of leading trade and public exhibitions across various sectors (SIAL, Wine Paris, Silmo, Intermat, Foire de Paris, Rétromobile, Salon Mondial du Chocolat…), Comexposium operates in more than 20 countries worldwide.

Working closely with the Professional and Public Events Divisions, Julie will play a strategic role in representing Comexposium. She will oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing the visibility of its exhibitions, strengthening their positioning, and identifying new opportunities with public and private institutions.

The creation of the position of Director of External Affairs marks a significant milestone in our development strategy. In line with our mission as a community leader, it reflects our commitment to promote the visibility and support of the major transformation challenges of the industries we serve through our 150 events worldwide. Julie Creuseveau’s expertise and vision will be key assets in strengthening our institutional influence and showcasing the impact of the sectors we support, while fostering stronger ties with our partners.

A graduate with a master’s degree in International and European Public Law, Julie Creuseveau brings strong expertise in public affairs and institutional communications, developed through strategic roles within the French government.

Julie has held diverse and high-level positions, including serving as Technical Press Advisor in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Édouard Philippe (2017-2020), where she managed press relations and coordinated major events in France and abroad. She later became Chief of Staff to Geneviève Darrieussecq, Minister Delegate for the Armed Forces, and Christophe Béchu, Minister for Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, until 2024.

More recently, Julie served as Director of Institutional Relations at Viparis, where she strengthened relationships between the organization and its public and private stakeholders, while supporting the Executive Management on strategic matters.
